0 stars if I could. 1 star for the nice girl who picked up the phone to book my appointment. First of all; they NEVER pick up the phone. I had to call 3 times and leave 3 voicemails, no one called me back. Finally I called a 4th time and someone picked up and scheduled my rodent removal service. I gave her all my info she said they will come from 2-4pm the next day (yesterday) The next day comes, I called around 12pm to see approximately what time they will come or to get a contact #, no one picked up I left a voicemail. It’s now 2pm I called again no answer. I kept calling from 2-5pm NO ANSWER I called like 10 times. They never showed up!!! I took time off work to be home for the appt and no one coming was a major disappointment and inconvenience. And the fact that they no called no show was even worst. Why not tell me you won’t come so I can go to work. My fiance has been in the ICU for a month, so financially it’s hard to take time off, plus I could’ve spent this time to visit my fiance instead of just sitting around at home. Justin is kind and courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We had an ant problem and he did one treatment and we haven’t seen ants since then. Really amazing job!

After 3+ years with Econex, will be canceling service. $100+ quarterly visits consist of 5-10 minute service leaving cobwebs behind. We've needed multiple in-between visits to address and ants and spiders in the home despite the quarterly preventative services. Difficult to make appointments. Most recently was quoted a 6 day wait for an appointment with no anticipated arrival window. Was told I need to call the morning of the appointment for them to provide an estimate of when they'd arrive.
Spending $400+ a year to receive this level of service and spending additional money on treatment ourselves due to the long wait times is incredibly frustrating.

After over 7 years with Econex, we've decided to cancel and close our account today. During those years, we never disputed the pricing and always paid our bills on time.
However, I've experienced the same issues as many other reviewers. I had a monthly service contract with them, but each visit lasts about 5 minutes, and they leave without thoroughly addressing the problem. My last service was on 08/27/2024, and today, on 09/11/2024, our house is infested with ants. I called to report the issue, stressing that it was urgent, but scheduling an appointment was incredibly difficult. Despite the urgency, I was told I would have to wait over a week for service.
If I'm paying for regular pest control, it should at least prevent issues like ants and other bugs. When an urgent situation arises, scheduling a timely appointment should be much easier. I expressed my frustration over the phone, saying that we had just received pest control, and this was unacceptable. I mentioned that if no one could help, I would have to consider finding another pest control company. They didn't seem to care about losing a customer.
Given that I travel often for work, I need to be notified well in advance of service dates. There have been multiple times when I received a text confirming my service date, only for no one to show up. Later, I would receive another text with a rescheduled date. I've called them multiple times about this scheduling issue, but the same problem continues.
Spending $500+ a year for this level of service, and then having to spend additional money on treatments ourselves due to long wait times, is incredibly frustrating.
I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews, as I understand that running a business is not easy. I've been very patient and communicative, as my goal was to resolve the issues. But after all this time, the results have been disappointing.
One star is for their technician they are always very kind and hard working.

**Review Title: Stay Away – Total Rip Off!**
I had a truly terrible experience with this pest control company and can't stress enough how important it is to avoid them. They are not honest and completely took advantage of my lack of knowledge about pest control.
When I hired them, I showed them a report provided during the purchase of my house, and they assured me they would cover all the findings as part of their treatment. However, after the service, I found out they hadn’t treated many of the areas they claimed they would. When I confronted them about this, their story changed completely. They suddenly acted as if the areas were never part of their responsibility, which was incredibly frustrating.
It feels like they were just trying to take my money without delivering on their promises. If you value honesty and genuine service, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This company is a total rip-off!
